Create a new grade

In this article, we explain how to create a new grade to assign to employees.

Grades must first be created before they can be added to an employee profile.

  1. Click Admin from the menu on the left.

  2. Scroll down to the Company section and click Configure Employee Grades.

  3. Click Add new, then type in the grade name.

  4. On the Grade type drop-down list, select the type.

  5. If it's a home based grade, click the toggle next to Is Home Based. Leave the toggle turned off if service based.

  6. Click Save.

⚠️ Important: If a job grade is marked as service-based or home-based, the employee record must match this setting for the grade to be selectable.
