Delete an open audit

In this article, we explain how to delete an audit from the system or remove it from a specific location.

You can remove an audit permanently from the system or you can just remove it from a location, which deletes its assignment to that location without affecting the audit itself in the system. Follow this guide to manage your audit records effectively.

Delete unfinished or unused audits

For audits that haven't been completed or are no longer needed, you can delete them through the audit history.

  1. From the left menu, click Admin.

  2. Click Audit History.

  3. Click the audit you want to delete.

  4. Click Delete this Audit.


Delete an audit template

Use this method to permanently remove an audit from your system. This action can't be undone, so ensure you no longer need the audit or its data before you proceed.

πŸ“Œ Note: There's no way to remove an overdue audit. They'll need to be carried out and submitted as normal.

  1. From the left menu, click Admin.

  2. Under Audits, click Manage Audits.

  3. From the Folder drop-down box, select the folder the audit is stored in.

  4. Find the audit in the list, then click the delete iconnext to it.

  5. Click Yes to confirm.


Delete an audit from a location

Unassign an audit from a specific location whilst you keep the audit template available in your system. This is useful when an audit is no longer relevant to a particular site but may still be needed elsewhere.

  1. From the left menu, click Admin.

  2. Under Audits, click Audit Planning.

  3. From the Folder drop-down box, select the folder the audit is stored in.

  4. Click Audit settings.

  5. Find the audit in the list, then click the delete iconnext to it.

  6. Click Yes to confirm.
