What's new?
Enhanced data privacy protection
We've implemented additional safeguards to prevent customer ACC URLs from being indexed by search engines like Google. This proactive enhancement ensures that sensitive customer information remains private and secure, eliminating any risk of internal data appearing in public search results.
Benefits:
Strengthened Privacy: Customer data is now fully protected from inadvertent public exposure.
Enhanced Security: Search engines can no longer access or index sensitive ACC content.
Peace of Mind: Customers can be confident their information remains completely private.
This improvement reflects our ongoing commitment to maintaining the highest standards of data privacy and security for all our customers.
Advanced audit notification controls
We've introduced comprehensive controls that give administrators precise management over audit email notifications and PDF attachments. This enhancement provides greater flexibility in how audit communications are handled across your organisation.
Key Features:
Granular Control: New application setting allows administrators to enable audit notification options on a system-wide level.
Flexible Configuration: Individual audit types can now have email notifications and PDF attachments controlled independently.
Smart Dependencies: PDF attachment options are automatically disabled when email notifications are turned off.
Seamless Migration: All existing audit schedulers are automatically updated with notification controls enabled by default.
Intelligent Interface: Re-send email functionality is contextually disabled for audits where email notifications are not required.
Benefits:
Reduced Email Overload: Turn off unnecessary notifications for specific audit types.
Streamlined Workflows: Choose exactly when PDFs should be generated and attached.
Administrative Efficiency: System-wide controls with audit-specific customisation.
User-Friendly Design: Clear visual indicators and helpful tooltips guide configuration decisions.
These enhancements ensure you have complete control over your audit communication workflow while maintaining the flexibility to customise settings for different audit types as needed.
New features
System-wide audit notification control
A new master control has been added to the Application Settings that governs the entire audit notification system. This "Audit Notification Flags" setting acts as a global switch, allowing ProviderSupport users to enable or disable the notification configuration options across the entire system for your organisation.
Provider Support Configuration: Your ProviderSupport user can access this setting through the Admin Dashboard in the Application Settings section. The "Audit Notification Flags" setting will be enabled by default for all clients, making the individual audit notification controls immediately available to your users having proper permissions. When disabled, the system maintains the existing behaviour where all audit notifications are sent automatically.
Individual audit type configuration
Once the system-wide setting is enabled, audit-specific notification controls become available on the Audit Type Setup page. These settings can only be accessed and modified by users who have proper permissions to access Audit Type Setup page for an audit.
Accessing audit-specific settings:
Navigate to Audit Type Setup for an audit from Audit planner manager page or from Audit Setup page.
Look for the new Notification Settings.
Available notification options:
Email needs to be sent checkbox: Controls whether notification emails are sent when an instance for the audit is submitted.
PDF needs to be attached checkbox: Controls whether a PDF report is generated and attached to notification emails.
Both options include helpful tooltips, and confirmation prompts to prevent accidental changes.
PDF attachment options are automatically disabled when email notifications are turned off.
Smart re-send email control
The "Re-send email" button now intelligently adapts based on your notification settings. When you access a submitted audit instance where email notifications have been disabled for that audit type, the re-send button is automatically disabled with a helpful tooltip explaining why the option is unavailable.
Automatic integration with existing audits
All existing audits are automatically updated with the new notification controls enabled by default, ensuring no disruption to your current workflows. You can then selectively modify settings for specific audit types as needed.
How to access this update
This update will be automatically rolled out to all customers on 7 August 2025.
