Overview

This release enhances our Audits module with more comprehensive compliance scoring, flexible audit design, and improved staff audit tracking. We've added team member visibility in Audit History, enabled sub-questions for inverse question types, extended compliance score calculations to include three additional question types, and simplified the Incident Form template builder.

All changes maintain full compatibility with existing templates and historical data whilst providing enhanced functionality for comprehensive compliance management.

What’s new

Enhanced Audit History with Team Member Tracking

Team member information is now visible in both the Audit History table and the Audit Instances section within the Audit History modal. The new Team Member column appears immediately after the Resident column, enabling complete audit subject tracking across service users and staff members.

Benefits:

  • Track all audits conducted about specific team members for performance reviews and competency assessments

  • Identify patterns in staff audit results for targeted training opportunities

  • Maintain comprehensive records for regulatory inspections and quality assurance

Data is automatically captured for all new audit instances going forward, whilst historical records display "N/A" where this information was not previously recorded.

Expanded Question Capabilities with Sub-Questions

Sub-questions are now supported for YesNoInverse and YesNoNAInverse question types, providing consistent functionality across all Yes/No question variants.

Benefits:

  • All Yes/No question types now work identically, reducing confusion during template creation

  • Add follow-up questions that appear based on specific responses

  • Gather detailed information when non-compliant responses are recorded

When creating or editing audit templates, the "Add Sub Question" button is now enabled for inverse question types. All sub-question responses are captured and included in audit scoring and reporting.

Extended Compliance Score Calculations

Compliance score calculations now include three additional question types: Compliant, PcCompliance (Partially Compliant), and RadioRAG (Red/Amber/Green). These can be configured in the existing Compliance Answer Settings screen alongside current question type configurations.

Benefits:

  • Compliance percentages now include responses from all question types used in your audits

  • Define which answer options count as compliant, non-compliant, or not applicable for each question type

  • Configure all question types in the same familiar screen

To configure:

  • Navigate to AdminCompliance Answer Settings

  • Select any of the new question types (Compliant, PcCompliance, RadioRAG, or YesNoNAInverse)

  • For each answer option (e.g., "Fully met", "Green", "Compliant"), select whether it should be marked as:

    • Compliant (green button)

    • Not Compliant (red button)

    • Not Applicable (blue button)

  • Changes apply automatically to all new audit instances

Pre-configured Defaults:

· Compliant: "Compliant" marked as compliant; "Not Compliant" marked as non-compliant

· PcCompliance: "Fully met" marked as compliant; "Partially met" and "Not met" marked as non-compliant

· RadioRAG: "Green" marked as compliant; "Amber" and "Red" marked as non-compliant; "N/A" marked as not applicable

These defaults can be customised to match your organisation's specific requirements.

Enhanced Audit Reports

Compliance reports and widgets now automatically include the three new question types in their calculations, providing more comprehensive compliance scoring across your audits.

What's Included:

  • Compliance percentages automatically incorporate responses from Compliant, PcCompliance, and RadioRAG question types alongside existing question types

Simplified Incident Template Builder

The Duplicate button has been removed from the question toolbar in the Incident Form Management template builder, streamlining the template creation workflow.

Benefits:

  • Cleaner interface makes template creation more intuitive

  • Reduces accidental question duplication and potential configuration errors

  • Encourages intentional question design

Questions can still be added by:

  • Dragging and dropping one of the available question types from the left -hand panel into the desired subsection, or

  • Clicking the "Add Question" button at the end of the subsection and selecting the desired question type
