Configuring audit ratings ensures audits are accurately assessed and categorised. Whether you prefer score-based thresholds or custom labels, both options offer flexibility and control. This article explains how to set up both methods, helping you streamline and standardise your audit process.
There are two main ways to configure audit ratings in the system:
By Score: Standard score-based thresholds.
Custom Audit Ratings: Create and apply your own labels and colors.
Option 1: Configure audit ratings by score
To rate audits based on their score:
Go to the Admin menu at the top of the screen.
Under Audits, click Manage Audits.
From the Select Folder drop-down, select All.
Find the audit you'd like to edit and click the edit icon.
In the Additional Audit Settings section, select Rate Audits based on Score.
For each rating:
Select the label. For example, Pass or Fail.
Select a Rating Rule. For example, Greater than or Equal to.
Enter a Score Value.
Click Save Settings.
Option 2: Use custom audit ratings
Only roles with rating permission can create and apply customised audit ratings.
Create custom audit ratings
Go to the Admin menu.
Under Audits, click Custom Audit Ratings.
Click Add New.
Type in a label name for your new rating.
Click the Color box and select a custom color.
Click Save.
Your custom rating will now appear in the list.
Apply custom audit ratings
Go to the Admin menu.
Under Audits, click Manage Audits.
Select All from the folder drop-down.
Find the audit and click the Edit icon.
In Additional Audit Settings, select Rate Audits based on Custom Audit Ratings.
For each rating:
Select the label. For example, Pass or Fail.
Select a Rating Rule. For example, Greater than or Equal to.
Enter a Score Value.
Click Save Settings.
