Overview

This release delivers broad improvements to Analytics across key modules—Audits, Incidents, Complaints and Compliments, and Mock Inspection—focusing on better data accuracy and clearer insights. Enhancements include refined insight naming, improved data logic, expanded drill-downs, and removal of redundant data.

Additionally, we’ve introduced a brand-new analytics insights for the Incident V3 module, bringing this data into Analytics for the first time. New insights offer deeper visibility into incident trends, behaviours, reporting patterns, and compliance timeliness.

All updates are fully compatible with existing workflows and designed to support better decision-making and compliance oversight.

What’s new

New: Incident V3 Analytics

We’re excited to introduce a completely new analytics dashboard for Incident V3, bringing incident data into Analytics for the first time. This purpose-built suite includes dedicated insights to help teams track, analyse, and respond to incidents more effectively.

Key insights include:

  • Incidents Last Month vs. 12-Month Trend – Spot emerging patterns

  • High-Risk Individuals – Identify those frequently involved in incidents

  • Incident Hotspots by Time – Understand when incidents are most likely to occur

  • Behavioural Incident Patterns – Reduce restrictive practices and improve support

  • Repeat Incidents – Flag unresolved issues

  • Staff Reporting Patterns – Promote a healthy reporting culture

  • Compliance Timeliness – Ensure timely submissions for CQC, RIDDOR, and safeguarding

  • Actions Taken & Follow-Up – Confirm incidents lead to meaningful change

To access the Incident V3 Dashboard:

  • Log into Access Evo and launch Analytics in the Product tab of the Evo button

  • Select Dashboards from the Analytics left hand menu and then "Incident V3 Dashboard"

  • Explore the purpose-built insights

  • Use drill-downs to investigate specific incidents, patterns, or trends

Note: If you’ve added new fields to your Incident V3 templates, a data refresh is required to reflect these changes in Analytics.

Data refresh is required when:

  • New fields are added to Incident V3 templates

  • Incidents are recorded using updated templates

  • You want new field data to appear in analytics

To perform a Data refresh:

  • Log into Access Evo and launch Data Engine in Product tab of the Evo button

  • Access Table&Views from the top right menu (by pressing three-line button)

  • Access the “public-acc” folder from the Team menu option

  • Select “Schema” from the ACC Customisable Incidents Content Data V2 menu

  • Now Select “Refresh Schema” button

  • Select Apply & Reload Data

Refer to the attached video guide for instructions on refreshing data.

Note:

  • Analytics will only reflect fields present at the time of data refresh.

  • Only users with Data Engine access can perform data refreshes.

Improvements Across Existing Modules

We’ve made comprehensive enhancements to Analytics across Audits, Incidents, Complaints and Compliments, and Mock Inspection dashboards, focusing on clarity, accuracy, and usability.

What’s improved:

  • Corrected Insight Naming – Titles now clearly reflect the data shown

  • Enhanced Data Logic – Improved calculations, filtering, and aggregation for reliable reporting

  • Expanded Drill-Downs – Explore data in more detail with added drill-down paths and filters

  • Streamlined Data – Removed redundant metrics for cleaner dashboards and faster performance

These updates ensure a more consistent and intuitive experience, helping users make better-informed decisions and maintain compliance with confidence.
