What is Evo Navigator?
Evo Navigator is your personal command centre inside Evo. Everything you need for your working day — shortcuts, tasks, notifications, and AI assistants — is in one place, without switching between products.

How to open Navigator
Log in to Evo as normal.
Navigator is the first tab on the left-hand side of the screen — it is always visible.
Click it to open your Navigator home screen.
Quick Actions
What are Quick Actions?
Quick Actions are shortcuts to the tasks you do most often without navigating into the full product. They appear as a row of tiles near the top of your Navigator screen.
How to use a Quick Action
Open Navigator.
Find the Quick Actions tile row near the top of the screen.
Click the tile for the task you want to complete.
The action opens immediately — complete it and you're done. You never leave Navigator.
Tip: Quick Actions also appear in Evo's global search. If you type "create action" or "log complaint" anywhere in Evo, matching Quick Actions surface in the results.
Create records in ACC instantly from the sidebar, without navigating away from your current page. These are the "do it now" tools in Evo Navigator: short, validated forms for the tasks care staff and managers need to log in the moment, rather than switching context to the full ACC module.
The five ACC Quick Actions are:
Name | What it does |
Add Risk | Adds a new risk to the risk register from the sidebar, with risk-level guidance consistent with the main ACC risk form. |
Create Action | Raises a new action with title, owner, priority and due date, without leaving the current page. |
Log Compliment | Records a compliment in seconds with mandatory field validation to ensure correct logging first time. |
Log Complaint | Logs a complaint with the full form — nature of complaint, resident linkage, duty of candour — without leaving the current page. |
Raise Incident | Logs a new incident from Evo; the record is created in ACC and a link to open the record will appear. Note: this creates the incident record only — full completion (e.g. additional detail fields, investigation, sign-off) still needs to happen in ACC directly. |
Quick Panels
What are Quick Panels?
Quick Panels are slide-out information streams such as notifications, Tasks, and Comms. They appear as icons on the left-hand side of your screen and stay available at all times.
How to open a Quick Panel
Open Navigator and look for the Quick Panel icons on the left-hand side of the screen.
Click the icon for the panel you want — for example, Pending Actions or Incident Notifications
The panel slides open over your current screen.
Review your content and take any actions needed.
Click the same icon again to collapse the panel. Your main screen is unchanged.
How to manage which Quick Panels appear
Open Navigator.
Click the settings icon near the Quick Panel icons.
Toggle the panels you want to show on or off.
Your preferences are saved automatically.
The ACC Quick Panels are:
Quick Panels
Name | What it does |
Incident Notifications | Recent high severity incidents flagged for attention in one place |
Pending Actions | Shows the most recent actions assigned to the user with status tiles (Overdue, Due Today, In Progress, Completed) and a location selector and live refresh. |
Quick Sections
What are Quick Sections?
Quick Sections are dedicated areas within Navigator where a single tool is displayed in full giving it more screen space than a side panel.
How to open a Quick Section
Open Navigator.
Scroll below the Actions Required area.
Click a section to open it and interact with it directly.
How to manage your Quick Sections
Open Navigator and scroll to the Quick Sections area.
Click the settings icon in the Quick Sections area to manage your sections.
Browse available sections and add the ones you want. Reorder or remove existing ones as needed.
Your preferences are saved automatically and will be there next time you open Navigator.
Tip: Quick Sections are ideal for tools you use every day like a team dashboard or a data view that benefit from more screen space than a side panel can offer.
The ACC Quick Sections are:
