Sometimes audits don’t get finished before the deadline, maybe a few were missed, or more were added late. Once the audit period closes, you won’t be able to submit anything new unless you take action.
The easiest fix is to extend the audit deadline. This gives you more time to complete and submit any leftover audits from that month, without reopening the period or going around the system.
From the left-hand menu, click Audits.
Click Audits Planning.
Select the home required from the drop-down box.
Click Audit settings.
Find the required audit, then click Setup.
Under the Audit Schedule, click the left blue arrow next to the date picker.
Find the audit, then click Extend or Submit Now.
Click Extend Schedule.
Enter the extend-to date and time.
Click Save.
Understand Extended Audits
When an audit is extended, it becomes an Extended Audit, which follows a slightly different process:
The system generates a unique link to access the Extended Audit.
You’ll be given the option to complete the audit immediately or send a request to another user.
If you choose to send a request, the recipient will find the access link in the Schedule Setup page.
⚠️Important: Extended Audits must be completed on the web version of Access Care Compliance. They won't appear nor can they be completed via the mobile app.
