Use this guide if your Care Compliance site is integrated with Access Evo. If your site is not integrated with Evo, refer to the New account setup article instead.
New users must first be created in Evo before their profile can be configured in Care Compliance. Follow the steps below to complete the full setup.
⚠️ Important: You must have Evo admin or owner permissions to create a new user in Access Evo. If you do not have the required permissions, contact your Evo administrator before proceeding.
Step 1: Create the user in Access Evo
Start by adding the new user in Access Evo and assigning them the correct role. This triggers the automatic creation of their profile in Care Compliance.
In Access Evo, go to the Members tab and create the new user.
Under Roles and Permissions, select User for Care Compliance.
Click Save.
Once saved, the user's profile will be automatically generated in Care Compliance, ready for setup.
📌 Note: If the user's profile does not appear in Care Compliance within a few minutes, check that the correct role was selected in Evo. If the issue persists, contact Access Support.
Step 2: Complete the profile in Care Compliance
Once the profile has been generated in Care Compliance, complete the remaining setup by assigning a location, a role, and the employee's details.
From the left menu, click People, then click Employees.
Click on the employee's name to open their user profile.
Click the Location tab and select the user's main location. Additional locations can be assigned after the initial setup.
Click the Roles & Permissions tab and select a role. This determines the level of access the user will have within Care Compliance.
Click the Employee Info tab and complete the following fields:
Grade: Select the employee's grade or pay band as defined in your organisation's settings.
Employee Identifier: Enter a unique reference for this employee (for example, a payroll number or staff ID). This must be unique across all users.
Click Save.
📌 Note: On the Roles & Permissions tab, the Admin toggle automatically grants the user access to any new locations created after their initial setup. Enable this if applicable.
